Computers, Internet and the Licensee

This course introduces the basic functions of the computer hardware components, basic terminologies used in computerese, introduction to the Internet and the world wide web and how licensees can do research and marketing on the computer. The course will cover how to bid online for HUD properties, how to establish email groups and avoid spamming. Common problems encountered in using the computer, how to do a scan disk and clean up the computer files and the need for backup will be discussed. It is imperative that licensees become computer literate and this course will be an introductory course to demystify the computer and how to use the computer and the internet to increase productivity. Megs, Gigs, RAM, MHz, WWW, Internet, HTML, HTTP, URL, etc., will be explained in easy to understand terms. This course is not for geeks but will appeal to the majority of the licensees.
