Hawaii Real Estate 2011-2012 Core: Parts I and II
The Core Course of the 2011-2012 biennium consists of five clock hours of instruction divided into two parts. Part I consists of this introduction, a summary of Hawaii Laws enacted in 2011, updates on State rule-making and the Federal Mortgage Assistance Relief Services (MARS) rules, and a preface and general background on real estate property management. The Summary of laws for 2012 will not be covered in the Core Course for 2011-12, but will be published in materials to be issued by the Real Estate Commission after the 2012 legislative session closes. Part II, which can be taken only subsequent to Part I, is a continuation of property management instruction, discussion and exercises. Parts I and II each consist of 2-1/2 hours of course material.
Number of Credit Hours per course = 2.5 (5 credits total) Courses are self-contained - you don't need to go outside the course for additional information in order to successfully complete the class! Course levels are Intermediate - These courses build beyond the basic by introducing new material. Topics emphasize mastery and topic updates.
