Issues In Representing Foreign Investors

The course is designed to expose the Licensee to the myriad of issues when dealing with and representing a foreign investor. It will briefly address issues such as agency, contracts, financing, escrow, reporting taxation, ADR. It will also introduce the Licensee to applicable US immigration laws that typically motivate a foreign investor's decision to invest and recommend best practices so that Licensees avoid potentially engaging in the unauthorized practice of law.
