Red Flags Property Inspection Guide
Students can increase their value as real estate agents by learning how to recognize "red flag" signals that may indicate property defects. Topics covered include: Red Flags: What Are They and What Causes Them?, Inspecting for Red Flags Inside and Outside the Home, and Red Flags Associated with Environmental Hazards and Hazardous Materials. This course includes detailed home inspection techniques with illustrations and background information on asbestos, radon, lead, and other hazards to homeowners. It has been designed to be a valuable tool for non-experts who may need help detecting red flags in residential properties.

Environmental Issues in Your Real Estate Practice
Environmental issues are present in nearly every residential sale. The course helps agents understand the impact of: Lead-Based Paint, Radon Gas, Asbestos, and Formaldehyde and Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs), Water Supply and Wetlands, Storage Tanks, and Environmental Consultants. This course could be appropriate for your GRI program! To sell to today's more safety-conscious consumers, real estate agents must do more than just disclose known hazards. They should be able to recognize hidden hazards and advise the clients on how best to deal with these problems. This course teaches agents what to look for when evaluating a property, how to perform "due diligence" regarding environmental issues, and how to avoid legal liability.

Courses are self-contained - you don't need to go outside the course for additional information in order to successfully complete the class!

Course levels are Intermediate - These courses build beyond the basic by introducing new material. Topics emphasize mastery and topic updates.
